Advanced Player Development Clinics at UC Santa Cruz

SANTA CRUZ, CA ---Registration is open for the UCSC Women's Soccer program's Fall Advanced Player Development Clinics. We will be holding two Saturday/Sunday clinics on the UCSC Lower East Remote Game Field. The first two-day camp is slated for September 25-26, 2010. The second will be on October 23-24, 2010. Both camps will have check-in on Saturday at 2 pm. The first camp session will run from 3 pm – 5:30 pm. (more)

UCSC Womens Soccer Game Day Report

SANTA CRUZ, CA -- This Sunday, the UC Santa Cruz Women’s Soccer team opened up their fall 2010 preseason with a triad of 45 minute scrimmages against northern California’s DII Sonoma State University squad. Santa Cruz finally saw a warm sunny day, and the on-the-field battle remained scoreless after the first 45 minutes. (more)

Adam Boothe Resigns as Head Women's Cross Country Coach

SANTA CRUZ, CA -- After eight years, Adam Boothe, has stepped down as head women’s cross country coach at UC Santa Cruz. He will be taking a position as Graduate Assistant Coach for the cross country and track & field programs at Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota. Winona State is an NCAA DII institution in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. (More).

Selene Teitelbaum Resigns as Head Women's Volleyball Coach

SANTA CRUZ, CA -After seven years as Head Women’s Volleyball Coach at UC Santa Cruz, Selene Teitelbaum has stepped down. She has accepted a position as Associate Head Coach with the Winona State University Women’s Volleyball Team in Southeast, Minnesota. UC Santa Cruz Tennis Finishes Ranked #29 in Nation

SANTA CRUZ, CA-- After a year out of the national rankings, the UC Santa Cruz women's tennis program worked its way back into the national rankings, finishing at #29 in the nation. The highest ranking the Slugs held this year was #26. (more)

UC Santa Cruz Slugs Land Southern California JC Recruit

SANTA CRUZ, CA --The UCSC Slugs were able to land a solid Southern California JC star, Nathan Mohri, of Rio Honda Junior College.
Nathan is a quick, aggressive, pass and defend first point guard and was a two year team captain. (more)
