Cayla Neipris enters her first season as assistant coach of UC Santa Cruz Women’s Soccer. Neipris spent the past two years as a Graduate Assistant at Division III Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia while earning her Masters in Sport Administration from Georgia State University. At Agnes she assisted in all aspects of the program, including designing and implementing goalkeeping training, supervising scholar-athlete study hall, and recruiting future Scotties.
Prior to her time at Agnes Scott, Cayla spent a year as the Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. While at Allegheny she helped guide the Gators to a record setting season which was highlighted by three players receiving All-NCAC selections including an all-conference goalkeeper.
Neipris is a 2016 graduate of Vassar College where she was a goalkeeper for the women’s soccer program and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She holds a USSF “F” coaching license and a United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping II Diploma.
