LeDuff wins James O'Hara Sargent Sportsmanship Award
TEMPE, AZ - Senior tennis player Chad Le Duff has been selected as the James O'Hara Sportsmanship award recipient from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

The James O'Hara Sargent Sportsmanship Awards go to players who display outstanding sportsmanship and exemplify the spirit of college tennis during the course of the ITA Cup. To be eligible for this award, a player must reach the finals in their divisional singles draw. From this pool of players coaches vote, along with the input from officials, to select this year's recipients.
"It was a pleasure to watch a player of Chad's ability compete with such composure all tournament long," said ITA spokesman Justin Cerny.

Le Duff won the West Regional and then finished second in the country at the ITA Oracle Cup. In doing so, he became the 128th All American in the history of UCSC Men's Tennis.

"He was a talented Freshman when he came to UC Santa Cruz, but he had the privilege to mature as a person and a player because he had great teammates around him," said head coach Mike Napoli. "It's been a privilege and an honor to watch his development and see him get full recognition for his achievements."
