Dino Pollock joins the UC Santa Cruz family as the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Eligibility.
He comes to the West Coast after serving in NCAA National Office as Associate Director, Office of the Committees on Infractions since 2015. Prior to joining the NCAA National Office, he served as a Deputy Attorney General in the Civil Litigation Section in the Office of the Indiana Attorney General defending and prosecuting civil litigation matters including state regulatory laws, employment discrimination, whistleblower lawsuits, contract disputes, and constitutionality of state statutes.
"We are convinced that Dino Pollock will make significant contributions to the organization and procedural operations of the intercollegiate compliance and eligibility processes for student-athletes and coaches at UCSC," said interim Athletic Director Greg Warzecka.
A native of Chicago, Pollock was a letterman for the University of Illinois football team where he majored in Political Science and African-American studies. He received his J.D. from Valparaiso University Law School.
