Devlin, Harris lead 2015 accolades from Association of Division III Independents

Senior Caitlin Devlin was named 2015 women's cross country runner of the year from the Association of Division III Independents after a nationwide balloting from the Association's head coaches.

Devlin's senior year highlights included running 21:33 to win the Bronco Invitational Open Division on October 17, the second fastest 6K time in school history.

She was one of four Slugs named to the AD3I First Team. She ws joined by Katie Alioto, Jamie West and Lizzie Meredith.

Shannon McClish was named Rookie runner of the year. She as on the Second Team with fellow freshmen Natalie Marquardt, Isabelle Panza, and sophomore Autumn Burton. Raissa Boysen was named Honorable Mention.



Head coach Jamey Harris was named Coach of the Year by his peers for the second-straight year.

On the men's side, Tommy Smail was named Freshman of the Year and was joined on the First Team by freshman Dante Capone, sophomore Takehiro Yamaya and Senior Andrew Beckner.

Joe Shanahan was on the Second Team. Luis Gonzalez made Honorable Mention.
