Senior Katie Alioto won All-Region honors as UC Santa Cruz competed in the West Regionals in Claremont on Saturday.
Alioto ran her 5K in a time of 22:48.35 as the Banana Slugs placed 7th. Lizzie Meredith and Caitlin Devlin were the next Slug runners to finish with times of 23:24.05 and 23:24.79 respectively for 36th and 37th place.
Freshman Draven Hawk led the men with a time of 27:24.2 as the team finished a respectable 10th.
The full selections for next weekend's NCAA Championship will be announced the afternoon of Sunday November 15.
