UC Santa Cruz to host College Coaches Skills Camp February 3, 2018.

University of California, Santa Cruz is proud to announce that it has been selected to host the College Coaches Skills Camp Volleyball event on Saturday, February 3, 2018.  This event is open to high school volleyball players, freshmen through seniors.  There are approximately 25 College Coaches Skills Camp volleyball events held each winter and University of California Santa Cruz is honored to have been selected to host.

This one-day event will feature college volleyball coaches from Santa Clara University, University of San Francisco, California State University Fullerton, California State University Bakersfield, University of California Santa Cruz, and other colleges who will commit to attend when the college volleyball season draws to an end.

The College Coaches Skills Camp will feature two sessions: Morning and Afternoon.  Each session is identical in format and all college coaches will be in attendance at both sessions.  The coaches will run the event and will work directly with players throughout the day.  Athletes are welcome to ask questions and interact as much as possible with the coaches.

All registered players and their families can participate in the Discussion on College Athletics that is held between the two sessions.  This discussion is very popular with parents and players as it allows for a discussion about the college recruiting process and what the rules allow.
