Divison III Women's Soccer name All-Independent Teams
Association of Division III Independents Names 2007 All-Independent Women’s Soccer Teams KANSAS CITY, MO.--- Midfielder Christina Quitasol of California State University, East Bay, and forward Elizabeth Clem-Schneider of Salem College were named co-offensive players of the year and headline the All-Independent Women’s Soccer teams named today by the Association of Division III Independents.

Both UCSC Soccer Programs receive NSCAA Team Academic Award
SANTA CRUZ, CA -- A total of 406 soccer teams (111 men, 295 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2006-2007 academic year. Of that total, UC Santa Cruz is one of the 71 schools that had their Men's and Women's programs both recognized.

UCSC Women's Soccer Come Together, Important 1-0 Win
THOUSAND OAKS, CA -- The Lady Slugs Women’s Soccer team move one step closer to a possible bid to the NCAA Championships with a very important 1-0 victory over Division III Cal Lutheran. Cal Lutheran’s tough defense and speed proved to be a challenge for the Lady Slugs, but UCSC came together and found a way to win.

Lady Slugs Conquer the Panthers with a 2-0 Victory
ORANGE, CA -- The UC Women’s Soccer team move to 9-2-2 and take another big step forward towards a chance for a NCAA playoff birth with a very important 2-0 win. The victory over Chapman University improves the Banana Slugs unbeaten streak to eight straight games (7-0-1).

Lady Slugs Women's Soccer Stay Undefeated at Home
SANTA CRUZ, CA -- The slugs continue their winning streak at home, leaving no doubt as to the outcome of Sunday’s game against Dominican University. The slugs now 8-2-2 overall, defeated the Penguins 6-0, scoring five of the six goals in the first half.

Women's Soccer Overpower Menlo College, 4-0
SANTA CRUZ, CA -- The UCSC Women’s Soccer team kept their unbeaten record at home alive with a solid performance and well-deserved 4-0 win over NAIA opponent Menlo College. The Lady Slugs stepped onto the pitch with authority on a beautiful Sunday afternoon for the first match of the double header with the men’s program, scoring in the first three minutes of play.

Women's Soccer Earn a 2-0 Victory over Holy Names University
Oakland, CA - - The UC Santa Cruz Women’s Soccer team earned a 2-0 victory over NAIA opponent Holy Names University, improving to 5-2-1 on the season. This result gives the Slugs their third win in a row, all of which have been shutouts.

Lady Slugs Women's Soccer Top Chapman in Overtime, 1-0
SANTA CRUZ, CA -- As the rain clouds cleared, West Region Division III Rivals UCSC and Chapman took to the pitch to battle it out. The Lady Slugs slowly took over, controlling possession of the ball and outshooting Chapman 17-4.

Lady Slugs Sail to 2-0 Victory over Westmont College
SANTA CRUZ, CA -- The UCSC Women’s Soccer program improves to 3-2-1 after taking on NAIA opponent Westmont College on very windy afternoon. Outshooting their opponent 12-1, it was the Lady Slugs who sailed to a 2-0 victory, recording their third shutout on the season.

TACOMA, WA -- Junior Annick Lamb dribbled though a group of players and scored at 86:31, sending the Banana Slugs to a 1-0 victory over Willamette University in a women's soccer game hosted by the University of Puget Sound on Tuesday, Sept. 4th.

TACOMA, WA -- In a battle of nationally-ranked squads, it was the 21st-ranked Puget Sound Loggers who overpowered the 7th-ranked UC Santa Cruz Banana Slugs, 4-0 in a non-conference women's soccer game on Sunday afternoon on Peyton Field in Tacoma, Washington.
