Cougars Beat Banana Slugs

SANTA CRUZ (11-19) – The UC Santa Cruz women's swimming team took part in its second dual match in as many days as they took on NCAA Division II member Azusa Pacific University. The Cougars won 201-89 over Banana Slugs.

The women's team had participants finish in the top five in all sixteen events that took place. Individually, Katherine Arnold (100-yard breaststroke) won one individual event. As a team, the best finish for the Banana Slugs was second in the 200-yard medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay.

The next time the Banana Slugs will hit the pool will be on December 2nd as they take on California Lutheran University at UCSC Aquatics Center in Santa Cruz.
