Slugs Unveil 2012-13 Schedule
The UC Santa Cruz Men's Basketball team has announced their schedule for the 2012-13 season.
The Slugs will play 28 games, including 6 at home.
The Slugs six home games will showcase some of the Pacific Coast's top NCAA Division III talent, all battling for a spot in the Division III National Tournament.
Dec 19th- vs Pacific (Ore.)
Jan 8th- vs Cal Maritime
Jan 15th- vs UC Merced
Jan 31st- vs William Jessup
Feb 13th- vs Pacific Union
Feb 16th- vs Cal St. San Marcos
It will be critical for UC Santa Cruz, operating as an Independent, to protect their home court in an attempt to secure a bid to the Division III version of March Madness.
The exhibition season begins on October 27th with a home scrimmage against Cal State Monterey Bay.
The regular season kicks off November 1st, when the Slugs travel to Division II UC Davis.
