Department of Athletics Interview Policy
Interviews other than those immediately following a contest must be requested and arranged through the Sport Coach. Interviews and photo sessions will be arranged by the Coach at a time that will not interfere with the student-athlete's academic schedule or coach or administrator’s daily responsibilities. Requests should be made at least one day in advance to allow proper notification to the player, coach, or administrator.
Only credentialed members of the media, coaches, league officials, and designated administrators and staff will be allowed to sit at specified areas of the scorer’s table.
Press Row Services
Team and individual statistics are available online at goslugs.com for most sports. Postgame play-by-play and box scores will be made available to members of media in attendance upon request. Please inform the scorer’s table before the start of the game or match that you would like these materials provided.
UC Santa Cruz locker rooms are closed to all media. A 10-minute cooling off period will be enforced following each contest, after which the UC Santa Cruz head coach and requested players will be made available to the media. Postgame interviews will be conducted outside each team's respective locker room. Requests for visiting coaches and players should be made through the opponent's contact.
Radio stations planning to broadcast UCSC home contests must make arrangements with the Sports Information Director at least one week prior to the requested game. Radio Stations must provide all equipment and items needed for broadcast. If you need to request any items, please ask the Sports Information Director if they can provide the items. No wired internet access is available at any of the UC Santa Cruz venues.
